Part 3

If ur gonna buy the game soon purchase the special edition it allows you to play as Vergil. Oh and this game surely wont dissapoint you. I was hooked when i played it, i prefered it to God of War.

I would love to devil may cry , i haven't even played the first series sadly yea .

part 3 is the best part of devil may cry series...you have a lot of weapons and combos..graphic is excelent and dante is "crazy" loool...

You won't be disappointed. I have played all three Devil May Cry and I think Devil May Cry 3 is the best out of all three. You should definitely play it when you get the chance. Devil May Cry 4 is coming out on the Playstation 3 so don't fall behind. But I guess you could since the game isn't that long.

I purchased Devil May Cry in a set of games on ebay. I thought I wouldn't like it and would trade it in or sell it, but like you when I sat down and started playing it, I was hooked. Later I bought 2 and 3, but before I got a chance to play them, my PS2 laser went bad and I can't afford to get it fixed. I look forward to either getting it fixed or getting a new one, so i can get back to the game.

I suggest you do buy it. Me personally, I thought the regular version (the one where you can't play vergil) was much more fun. It was so much harder and everything seemed so much more rewarding, even the bosses were smarted. But the special edition is good if you want to see the story and get a bunch of other cool features.

I love these games! I actually haven't finished part 3 yet though. I'm kinda in the middle of it. But it's been great so far. :)
