have you ever publish your own comic?

how will it be published? through a mangaka contest? independently?will you print the copies yourself, or you have some publisher who will take care of those details?i did not publish any comics, but i published a photography magazine. i did everything myself though because it's really hard to find publishers or financing for that kind of project. my boyfriend is now starting a comic he will publish the same way i did (independently, paying for all the photocopying etc)... i wonder, would you like to participate in a worlwide art project? you see, the photo magazine i made will soon also have different kinds of art. i started only with photography, but hoped to eventually expand to accept art from painters, drawers, cartoonists, you know. my project is still young, and i have to stick with the photography content a little while before accepting different art styles, but for sure i want to do it, and would like to help new arrtists...and you are really talented o_O

i definitely wish that i could publish my own comic book someday. ive been in the graphic design business for almost a year now and i'm still finding a way where i could publish my works.

i can't publish some times it may be freezed after half compleatation of the thread

i wish someday..but not comic..it would be novels or poems.

No i am not, but some time i wanna publish my own manga. I just draw a 4 strip comic like kariage. yeah i hope some time i could draw manga better than now.

If that is your art it certainly is pretty good. I would like that comic. No I have not published a comic and probably never will as I do not create comics. (Just read them heh) I do write short stories and I have had some of them published before. Ishould get back to it.

I tried to do my own manga comic, but interest in it comes and goes, at the minute it is just an idea but hopefully someday it will get finished Anyway good luck with yours ;)

I never publish my own comic, i only a reader, loves them, tho... What is your comic about? I likes writing and do some paintings too... Since you (and me) are from the same country, i would like to share one of my art (caricature) that i created years ago... The caricature called ?PoliTikus? (politicians)... Showing bunch (poly=more than one) of rats (tikus)eating up some ?cheese? that the ?chees? formed as the ?map of Indonesia?... :-) Nice topic you are posting, here... If it´s possible, i would come back regularly :-)

I really want to make my own comic, but I can't draw human body proportionally. So I never gonna publish my own comic. But I have one friend that already did, and he's color blind heheheh

i never do that, but my friend (it's more good to drawing that me) it's near to publish they first book, i think they don't find a lot of problem, or maybe just one, the time to drawing his comics for the pubblication

Wow! Your art is so good! How I wish I could read your creations. Anyways, well, how I wish I could publish mine... Sometimes, it will take time before you can have your work published. And it goes through a long process.

well i remmember i was in grade 3 and a friend of mie wrote a story and it was selected, and was going to be published in the the school magzine and at that time my drawings were considered to be the best in my school so i was asked to draw scenes according to the story,so i guess i can say that my comic wa published.
