why r my children taught evolution when it is based on just a theory, no proof?

why should i have to stand by and let my children learn that junk, when there is no proof of that and i grant u there isn't no proof of God either , why can't they teach both at least? i mean there really isn't that much difference, they are both based on faith, and for those of u that say evolution is a fact then how come u can't provide proof other than scientists say so. or fossils which i might add there is a very big gap in the fossil "evidence" but i can't really get into that on here, but it basically boils down to the scientists has to first start out guessing everything way back when.

People are set in their beliefs and not open to the possibility that what they believe in is incomplete - I personally believe we can take truths from both the creationist and evolutionist theories.

I won't say evolution is a junk. It's sad that some fundamentalist Christian criminalise science and say evolution is incompatible with Bible. Bible simply does not say things like that. These fundamentalist read too much science into Bible and get into wrong interpretation and so they think that evolution is wrong. Bible is primarily a theological book, and the Genesis texts are poetically written. I would encourage those Christians who are against evolution to get their reading of the Bible right. Evolution is true or untrue, leave it to Biology.

I know evolution is fantasy, just because you believe that gravity doesn't exist doesnt make it magically go away. Since it cannot be proven and there exists no evidence, im amused people still believe in it. I don't try to prove tha God exists, but because of all the stuff in school, i se evolution as something worth beating the snot out. If alot of teachers preach that its truth, then its ok for me to say its bullsh*t.
