The Chinese art or practice of positioning objects, buildings, and furniture, based on a belief in patterns of yin and yang and the flow of chi that have positive and negative effects.I am moving into my new house in a couple of weeks and want to use feng shui to bring the positive energy in.Has anyone here used feng shui? How has it worked for you?.I want to make sure the layout of my furniture will be correct, especially in the lounge (see pic)Any help will be appreciated!

I believe in feng sui when in bed you feet cant face the door its bad luck, so when placing your bed make sure that when you are sleep your feet dont face the door directly there are alot of stuff cant remeber though.
Also there should be no mirrors when you are sleeping and any thing that reflects your image so if you have slidding glass doors as cupboards cover them ove and also cover the tv (if you have one in the bedroom).
also no sharp objects should be hanging or facing you

hi there. generally, to be able to let positive energy flow freely around your home, you must keep it clean and uncluttered. it also works well when the people living in it maintain a harmonious relationship, avoid arguments because it brings in negative energy. I hope you have your door/s or window/s installed facing the east (direction where the sun rises), it also helps to place your bed in a position where your head is towards the east direction when you are lying down. the gas range/burner should be placed far from the fridge and never place them facing each other, the fridge represents water and the burner represents fire, if they are positioned facing each other, the elements they represent will clash. it will also help if you place real plants inside your home, and try to conceal sharp edges/corners by placing something that will at least soften them. also, do not place a mirror where your reflection can be seen as you sleep or lie on your bed. for more tips, buy a feng shui book, im sure there are a lot for sale in your country. and don't forget that the most important thing of all is the power of having a positive mind. no one can beat that! the best of luck to you!

Hi.Try getting a book on feng shui.Try not to have paintings on the wall that contain water flowing down.It means you will lose cash quickly. And prevent placing a door infront of your staircase.Prevent having an empty area near the front of your bed where you sleep and try to tidy up your house as neatly and clean as possible. All these are just some tips.Try getting a feng shui book on how to place positions and stuff.
