I like to hunt for it gets me out in the woods and makes me relax and unwind. the part of taking an animal is not the most important part but just to sit and relax and just slowdown. it is a great way to get alone with your thoughts and i enjoy the time to pray to God and find answer to questions in my life. also the food i get helps with our budget and i do not hunt for just to kill but hunt for food and keep all i get or share with those in need. I enjoy most being able to hunt with family and friends for it is a great way to get to know each other.

Obviously you have not seen what happens in areas where hunting is limited. A park in Columbus Ohio had this problem and it wasn't a small city type park either. It was a wild life park. There were so many dear that they were starving. Do you call that comfortable. We had a red fox come right up to our house in the middle of the day. It was so sick with the mange that I didn't recognize what it was until after my husband shot it and put it out of its misery. Do you call that comfortable. Why did it happen because people weren't trapping them thus over population, starvation and sickness. I was working at a school when a sick raccoon with the mange came around the kids I was tending. Again no one trapping them and just like the fox starvation and sickness. Just how safe is it having sick wild animals out there? Hunting and trapping have their place. I don't believe in just hunting to kill. That I agree is senseless. We always eat what my husband shoots. I wish more people would really study the whole issue and find out what happens to those poor defenceless animals when balance is not kept.
