As a non-Christian/religious person can I state my favourite? I've read bits of the bible myself out of interest. I can't quote or word for word or even specify the page, although the writing that most appealed to me involed the 'sowing of seeds'.

You'll find it in Matt:13
My favourite is
JEREMIAH:29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
" plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future."
God bless yah all.

As an agnostic, and I've said this before, my favorite verse is"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
Thats not an exclusively Christian idea. It's a basic thruth every man, woman, and child should learn. Regardless of what mythology they follow. The world would be much happier with those words on everyone's lips.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall: but those who hope on the Lord will renew their strength. they will soar on wings like Eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint ISAIAH 40:30-31

My favourite verse is the verse quoted by Paul"I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."Though this is my favourite verse, reading bible verses gives me hope and joy to face day to day life.I read Bible whenever I can.But reading Bible helps me to find the will of God.

My favorite verse from the Bible is Psalm 139:23-24. It says "Search me o God and know my heart, test me and know my ways. Seek out anything in me that offends thee and lead me along the path of everlasting life." I really love Psalm 139 in its entirety, but that is my favorite part.
