Why peoples speak loud when hearing music on head phones or walk man?

when one listens to music they can hear their own voice so they talk loudly

I think it's because our mind think we are in a loud place, and need to talk louder so the other person also can hear what we say! I never talk with my headphones on, because i hate to talk, if i can't hear my own voice! hehe
