How to control anger?

I am very short tempered.I am not able to control my temper..and ppl related to me have to suffer because of this problem.I do regret later..but then its too late to regret.If someone out ther can give me a definate solution the plz plz do repond.I'm in urgent need of a solution..and i sincerly hope that it should work.Plz do help me.when i'm angry ....its very seviere absolutly out of control.
