If you could go back in time, what would you say to your younger self?

I think if I could talk to my younger self, I would definitely say STOP stressing over the little things. They all resolve themselves one way or another anyway. What about you?

I would tell my younger self not to date that idiot that you meet when you are 17, to study harder, save my money I make when I work at wendy's and get that apartment you want when you are 19.

i'd tell myself to - spend more time with my mom - be emotionally strong and wise - be careful, be cool, & be good.

Hehehehe ... I'm sure many are mistaking me for a man as well because of my avatar. It's actually my logo from my blog.

I would have told myself try out for Star Search. I was always singing and told that I had a voice that would make me famous. But I didn't watch a lot of tv working at a gas station with my father. Oh, what a life change it would have been!!!

I would tell myself to pay attention and be aware and enjoy every minute. I grew up in the great 80's and we didn't know how good we had it. Sure, AIDS was around but words like terrorism and 9/11 and Iraq were not in our regular vocabulary.

In my time,I did not enjoy much as youngsters do now, even though I had the chance, so DEFINITELY I will try to enjoy more.....

I'd probably tell my younger self to RUN when I met the ex hubby. Well, probably not because I have 3 gorgeous kids from it!

I would tell my younger self to wise up and study harder and not party so much and to save up my money. I was a rowdy kid and spent every dime I made and wasted away high school.

I would tell myself to do all the things I am doing now, but start back then! I had the chance seven years ago to do some of the cool stuff I do with the internet now to make money, but I was young and all I wanted to to was party and have a good time. If I had done then what I am doing now I would have made so much money I could have had all the fun I wanted. But you know what they say, hindsight is 20/20.

I would tell myself to not be in such a hurry to grow up. Life is worth living and not rushing by. I would let people who have passed let them know more often how much I really cared about them instead of asumming they already know.

I would tell myself to listen to my parents more. Looking back it seems like they were right 99% of the time when we disagreed on something. I wish I listened more to them growing up.

I feel the same way about my parents. I think back about some of the great advice they gave to me and I never took, and I wish I would have listened to them. Thanks for your reply.
