Does anyone here do Childcare?

I am retired from 26 years of childcare. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same joy I did while in this profession.

I currently run my own in-home daycare. I started up almost 3 months ago so I could stay at home with my own 2 kids. I love being able to stay with my kids while influencing the lives of other small children in a positive way. I have a child that was kicked out of his old dacare for biting. He has had 1 really bad day since coming here - he was being everyday! I also have a boy that would kick, scream, and cry when left at his old daycare - now that he is here with me he begs to come to my house and doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. Childcare is very rewarding.

I know exactly what you mean. Sounds a lot like what I had. I found that when I started a new child, it would take them 2 weeks to adjust, plus it would take me 2 weeks to adjust to them.LOL
Child care is very rewarding. I loved doing it and I miss it.
