Anyone read Voltaire??

I just got interested in Voltaire, born in 1694 some of his quotes were so forward looking, and many still true.....!! My fav is 'I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it'.

I have not read anything written by voltaire yet, but intend to . the quote you have given here is a very good one. Here are some i got on googling. -A witty saying proves nothing. -Anything too stupid to be said is sung. -It is dangerous to right when the government is wrong. -Think for yourself and let other enjoy the privilege of doing so too.
