it is unsecure unless you let it be un-secure.
If proper updated,patched and with a proper Antivirus,then nobody can screw you.
In computers,its always our hole which let others to enter,if we keep an eye on holes and other ways of coming and going then its pretty easy to do it all...
Before this i installed Vista betas,,RC1,and RC2 and to be frank i was just wondering what happen to Microsoft.It was simply garbage..and yesterday i got final version of vista and let me admit that its Awesome...
Security,speed everything is so cool...All drivers are supported,just a single one :( which i am trying to find..but overall its just a new world.
No doubt its a combine look of linux and MAC OS,but still its so good,easy and secure.
Cheers to Microsoft on such a wonderful project ....:)

i think windows XP is the best because its more user friendly than any other OS.

Well, I am having multi OS in my PC i.e., 98, XP and Server 2003. Well, out of these three I will select XP as the best. But 98 also having some advantages like a reliable and hardcore. In last 9 years, I never saw crashing of 98 on my PC. But whereas, XP crashed twice (may be due to piracy). But presently maximum times I am using XP (genuine). In voting I go for XP, and I agree with U regarding loading of drivers for each and everything U connect while OS 98.

i think so far windows xp is the best its been working out for me so far i have had no trouble with it. linux and unix is pretty good to they are older programs computers first started running on those programs they are really good though i have had linux in my first computer a long time ago the computer i have now is like my 3rd or 4th.

No its not because in windows98 u have 2 install all ur drivers and not so easily understandable the options of the 98win have in a great deapth a user didnt safisfy with that one,YES in Wiinxp it will pick up automatically graphics are really to good easy to under stand options plug and play drivers.U dont have to wiat as like u wait for 98.
