I was excited the day I turned 18. I went to the store and bought my first lottory ticket. I didn't win of course but it felt cool. My first real adult feeling was when I had my first son.

Have you ever won the lottery? I got 4 out of 6 numbers once and won $50 because 5000 other people also got 4 out of 6 numbers...

I'd have to say when I had my son. Even throughout the whole pregnancy, I still felt like I was a little kid in a dream. My husband still thinks I act like a kid though. ;)

When I was fifteen, when I first had to deal with grief. I had lost my beloved nan after a ten year battle against the big C. Instead of staying at home, I went to school and behaved like a real adult. I also had to be strong for my mum and give her every support. I have never hurt so much in my life but I had to be mums grown up son and I was there for her. It took a lot out of me but it also taught me to accept grown up responsibility and being there when mum needed me the most.

I don't recall a special moment. It just came upon me gradually. What about you?

I think it was probably when I was 21... I was so responsible then. I mean I moved out and bought my own condo at 19... but I was really naive from being raised as a Jehovah's Witness (not that it's a completely bad thing, I have pretty good morals from it)... but I wasn't prepared for the real world and I had a lot of bad things happen to me. I really felt alone and scared a lot until I was about 21.

It hasn't happened yet! Here i have a house, car, almost gonna be married, and I still feel like a kid. There are times I can't believe I graduated from college almost 4 years ago! I don't think I'll ever feel like an "adult" b/c I like to be mature when I have to be (work, bills) but immature whenever I can (gotta have some fun) :)

when I had to start paying my own bills. Also when there was no one to correct me when I was doing wrong things in life.
