Have you heard of Within Temptation?

This Dutch gothic rock group has gorgeous songs, and they've gotten top charts in Europe. Very few people have heard of them in the US, though. Have you heard of Within Tempation? If so, where? Have you ever heard their music? -'Dee

YES! They are my favourite band and I have seen them live once too. They are actually touring north america this year as they are now with roadrunner records so hopefully they will get noticed a lot more, they are so much better than other bands like evanescence, etc. The lyrics are fantastic, Sharon's voice is beautfiul and they are really versatile too. They were amazing to see live and I really hope I get the opportunity to see them again soon.

I hope the US notices 'em, too. I've been getting a lot of friends hooked, even ones who officially aren't supposed to listen to it since they attend a college where rock music's forbidden. You liked 'em live? That's something I've been considering; I don't know if I'd attend a live performance if I had the opportunity. The few concerts I've attended in my life were disappointments. Granted, those weren't Within Temptation, but it still makes me cautious. -'Dee

I actually have heard of them and have downloaded a few of their songs. I can't find thier albums around here anywhere unfortunatley. But I think they seem like a great band.

Have you tried looking online or on their website, http://within-temptation.com/? (Which seems like it's often down for maintenance, but that might just be me.) What songs have you downloaded? -'Dee

I love Within Temptation, have all their album. Been listening to them for a few years. The best is "The Silent Force". I even have the DVD concert, it's awesone.
