Oh my goodness! This is a bittersweet post. My little kitty is no longer with us. She slipped outside one afternoon and never came back. That was over 9 years ago.

@rebelann thank you. She was quite young when she came up missing. I think she was only 2 years old. Still a kitten in many ways.

I have a house full cats and there isn't a sane one in the bunch! LOL. They range from the one cat that refuses to get along with the dog (a doberman) and slaps her every time she walks by, to the one that that likes will have nothing to do with anybody but me and my grandaughter but adores both of so much that she will literally stand on her head and purr trying to get us to pet her. LOL

My cat can be a nut case from time to time. I love her to pieces. She'll sit and stare at her own reflection in the mirror. For two weeks straight she slept in my sock drawer for some odd reason. Last night she tried to sleep on my books which made them fall over and made a HUGE mess. I love my baby.

I have 13 wonderful nutcases. They all do different crazy things. But they seem to have one thing in common. None of them like to walk on the floor. They will go from table,to stand, to my chair and to whatever they can to get wherever they want. I have a few that as soon as they see me going to make a bottle for my grandson, they get as close as they can and if I spill any formula, they are right there trying to eat it. Cats are very amusing sometimes.

13!!!!!!!!!! Wow! A good freind of mine has about the same. I worry about her having so many cats around. She has MS and her balance isn't the greatest. I worry that she may trip and injure herself.

I have 2 nutcase kitties. They like to wake me up in the morning. I have a water bed, they have learned when they pounce the bed makes ripples. Then they attack the ripples, its big fun for them. They are still kittens, so they are still full of piss and vinegar. I am almost afraid to put my tree up, my grandson will be 2 in Jan. between him and the wild animals, who knows what will happen. I have a lively household, but I like it like that. On top of that I have 2 dogs.

I would have to say my cat has moments of coming close to being a nutcase, what with chasing imaginary whatevers! to running down the passage at full pelt and you know she has done a deposit in her tray, lol to wanting to sit on my lap while on the computor just watching the screen, but at 14 she is probably heading that way anyway! lol

Mine would hang off the back of the kitchen chairs and play with her tail. That was a sight to see.

We have two cats. One just sleeps, eats, and makes. But the other, wow, what a trouble maker she is. Hehhehee. She is very affectionate, but into everything. Recently she started to steal my personal things, and hides them like a pack rat.

Our cats watch television. They literally will sit down with us while the tv is on and watch whatever is on. However the nuttiest cat I know belongs to my friend. Her cat's favorite toy is the spot from a lazer pointer. This cat will literally jump up to 5 feet or more against a wall when you run the light up it. She will chase the light in tiny circles enough to make anyone nauseous.
At our house we have a platform bed. We once had one of our cats chasing a flashlight beam in the dark. If we ran the beam along the floor in front of the bed the cat would chase it right up to the bed, but she never caught on that the beam went up on to the bed and not under the platform somehow (which of course it could not possibly do). You may say we are cruel, but the cat looked for the light beam to play with later too so I guess she had fun.

Cats do some crazy things and we find it so humorous. Itty watches tv too. She will try to swat at the screen.

I have spray bottles stragecially placed throughout the house. Often times I only need to shake it at Itty to get her to stop. But lately she is getting bold and I have to give her a squirt.

That is pretty funny to watch your cat do that. When I used to have one, we would take a laser pointer and watch him try and catch it. But he was such a smart cat. He could only be fooled for a couple of minutes before he figured out the secret. Funny times.

My cat is the most annoying nutcase alive. If i'm in the bathroom he knocks on the door till I open it and than walks away. if the cabinets are closed in the kitchen he opens them, I had to put child locks on them. He follows me everywhere, I am always tripping over him. But we love our jazz-purr.

These stories are so funny. My cat will sit on the arm of my chair and watch the celling fan go around. Her head goes around with it. It is the funniest thing. The other thing she does, is I have one of those litter boxes that scoops the poop out. Well she gets in goes and get out. 10 mins later the thing startes scooping the litter. She comes rippen out the hall to jump back in the litter box. One night she made it go of 10 times. She did go to the bathroom 10 times. Just in and out of the litter box to trigger the sencer so it go again. what a retard cat. lol

My older cat, Joxer, has a habit of ZOOMING! around the house like a nut with his fur poofed out and tail puffed to three times its normal size. When he first found his addiction to "kitty-weed" he adopted the classic "stoner" pose..drooling and vacant stare! :) He had (and still does!) the habit while ZOOMING! of crashing into walls...one time he couldn't stop he flew into the living room and clung Garfield suction cup car acessory style-like to the venetian blinds.
Aurora, my kitten, will also sit and watch mommy on the computer. She will also try and type and chase the mouse pointer on the screen. She's also a little piggy. If we're eating...she's eating it too! No choice in the matter! LOL
