is video game addictive?

i play video game in my pc. i find it amusing and relaxing. then i find myself being hooked up in the game. i spent hours and hours in front of pc. does video game realy that addictive?

Yes video games are addicting.My little boy can play all day and has a fit when he has to get off.I have limited him to only the weekends and for about 4 hours

wow u realy discipline ur kids. i now try to minimize my pc gaming and putting now my attention in more productive way than siting and playing pc/video games. tnx for the response.

They can be addicting, but you have to limit your time. They can also be a fun way for a bunch of friends to have a good time together. Such as having a Madden tournament.
