What will be the biggest benefit for human beings from mapping the human genome? i hope it will be to be able to grow replacement tissues for amputee's and eventually to regenerate the spinal nerves...i understand the humanitarian desire to eradicate illness, disease, cancer and the desire to live longer but people need to die...better from disease or illness than from starvation because we can't feed the world's population
