Whenever there is ash added, there is a bit of red in the dye. Be warned, though, if you have any blond in your hair red dye can turn it green.

Yes, I had blonde hair as a kid, then it turned brown. There were still naturally blonde highlights in my hair, but it wasn't blonde enough for me so I colored it blonde...and it had ash in the name and my hair turned orange.
