i tihnk we have done enough, we accomplished what we set out to do and now it is time to come home. our troops are dying for nothing but a civil war that is breaking out and we should have no part of that. as the mother of a 20 year old son who is in the army i feel we have gave to many lives already and i hope and pray that my son will not be one of them.

To be perfectly honest, I have not followed the war in Iraq very closely. I will say that we needed to do something after 9/11. I would have gone about this a totally different way though. I would have gone over there rooted out as many talaban members as we could then come home. I would not be rebuilding or getting involved in their politics. They attacked us so I don't see why we have to rebuild them. They need to take responsibility for what their people do. If they don't like the consiquenses then they need to take care of the problem.
And a quick note to all those who say we have lost too many lives in this war, how many did we loose in world war 1 or world war 2? What do you think the price of our freedom and our safty is? I'm not saying that I don't pray for the safty of our troops everyday, or that it hurts to know that they are dying daily.
