Google Adsence, yes or no?

What is the general opinion? Do you think it is better to try and make money off of things such as commission junction banners on your site, or google adsense? Since you are not allowed to put your site onto traffic exchanges with adsense, it is hard getting traffic to your site unless you spend all day advertising. I only have about 1 hour a day to work on my site, and havent really had any progress in the first week. Any suggestions? http://finallyloseit.blogspot.com
