Sometimes I stay home and sometimes I go to the local pub which is only about 100 yards away from my home.
The only problem is that the pub is small and gets crowded on New Year's Eve but wherever I am, I go down to the pub for the midnight chime of the church clock, and the celebratory bells, because all the local villagers link hands in the street outside the pub, and below the church, for Auld Lang Syne, and this is followed by much hugging and kissing and fireworks.
It's a great atmosphere.

Eat a great diiner at my house with dear friends and than play games all night. Dinner includes prime rib and crab legs. Games are pictionary, uno attach, and pool.
