Do You Think Working From Home Is Worth It To Raise Your Kids?

I am a work at home mom and have been for about 4 years now. I really enjoy it but some people feel as though I sit on my A&^ all day and do nothing. I bust my A&^ every day to make ends meet and have the pleasure of raising my children. I see it as having two fulltime jobs . Mom and Independent Contractor. I love it but wonder why at home moms are so misunderstood.

Does it really matter what others think? You obviously love your kids and stay home with them so that they can bond with you, and as long as you have a clear conscience, then the rest can go take a running jump.
I think your actions are commendable. Keep up the good work with raising your kids. :-)

Oh thank you soo much. No it doesn't really matter what they think but it just angers me sometimes when they feel as though working from home is a joke and not just like them working outdoors. thanks so much for your response. :)

Because they have never done it before. I think it is totally worth it. I have no more kids at home and I love it too.

Actually, it's a case to case basis even to a woman. Woman is diferent nowadays. Some are career woman and like to be in the corporate world than the house. Others love to be in the homes with kids but for ecomomic reasons do some office work. If you love working at home with kids, then by all means go on. Besides, you can earn a living by just staying at home through the internet.
