To a degree....you never want to let your enemy know you dislike them so much because you fear them or know what potential they have to destroy your name (as a neighbor or coworker). Some people just have that odacity (sp?) to haunt other people and make them feel terrible. By killing them with kindness reverse psychology can play a role and help you feel better as a person and make them think you are untouchable.
