Do you give gift cards for Christmas? If so are they from a store or Resturant? I was at the register today and there were dozens of options for gift cards and I thought ,wow, I could do all my shopping from here. LOL.. Personally I would like cards for food, I mean who doesn't like goin out to dinner.

From all I have read they have service charges added to them or fees and the card could diminish down to zero if not used soon. So I don't know if that would be the way to go or not. I bought a card a few years ago for someone where I worked and they didn't even bother to say "thank you" so that made me feel like they didn't like me giving them a card instead of another type gift. It definitely makes it easier to give a card when you have no idea what to give them.

yeah, I have noticed some gift cards do have charges and/or stings attached. I went to Dillards and was told that thier cards do not go out of date or widdle down if not used by a certain time. I think this would be a good choice. And the food cards seem to be worthwhile also. Before purchasing a gift card I will ask questions. Thanks
