I have a niece who was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus type 1 when she was only eleven years. I find it hard to believe that such a yound person can be infected with the disease. After some research on diabetes, i found that its something that can't be helped due to genetics. I will like to share more info to all parents or care givers to have some informations on coping with diabetes. Hope this would be useful to all of you. If you have some tips or just want to give some moral support, you can add comments. http://diabetes.personal-health-guide.com/

can symphatise with ur nience as i am a patient myself. Diabetes is very difficult to manage and the following must be followed. Diet which also means 3 small meals instead of 3 big ones, medication and exercise.High intensity exerise is preferable to burn the sugar

I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't know. It's quite an effort to maintain your diet. Hope the website is useful to you.
