Yup there is one called "Hikkut" and one more called "Gizzag".

I belive there r quite a many of these now. Like hikkut, multiply, reddif connections... jus to say some. Out of these i feel orkut is better bcos its more simple and comparatively quick. They(orkut) r introducin many new ideas which make it more simple to chat.

There are actually many sites similar to Orkut. Only some I can remember, like Myspace, Friendster, Yahoo 360, Hi5, Reunion, classmates, meetin, myyearbook, rediff connexions, etc. Others I will update when I remember. But I feel that Orkut is better than others because of its simplicity and easy to use. In India Orkut is more famous than others. In United States MySpace is more famous and used than others.
