i've no idea yet what to give my husband altho he needs a new office chair badly. but i'm still looking around. i'm tired of giving the usual - shirts, pants, perfume, keychains, pens, .....

My husband isn't into sports. I'm thinking a box of his favorite candy. Not sure. We are really living on a shoestring right now and he is a little depressed and says we shouldn't do any presents at all. It makes me sad because I know he knows that Christmas is more than presents and lots of food. We will be receiving our Christmas dinner from the food bank... I have already spent a little on each of the kids. I am not worried about the rest. As long as we are together, that is what matters most to me.

know what? you have the true essence of christmas there. love, family and belongingness, that's all anyone needs for christmas - in fact, for always. we've been having financial problems lately, too and my hubby and i have also agreed on not being extravagant this year. there will still be gifts but of the practical sort. even with our kids. from where are you? i wish you and your family a merry christmas and i'll be praying for better times for you.

ohhh! a stereo's expensive but a hat is okay. might get that for my hubby, too. thanks for your input!

For x ma I bought my husband a bears outfit.. Shoes, shirt, pants.. I think he will like it. Is your hubby into sports?

no, not really. he's not into sport so much except for billiards and boxing, but also, only when his idols are on. but thanks for the suggestion, though!
