" I have found a paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no more hurt, but only love" - Mother Theresa Has anyone else felt this way in their life? I feel as though this quote applies to SO many different things in my life in various and abstract ways. The only thing I feel that I am missing in life is a loving, committed, and honest relationship with someone, but what I have come to realize is that... love is everywhere. Love is within every inch of my life..I just have to open my eyes are REALIZE it. This quote applies to so many things.. how can you apply it to your life?

Really? Have fun with love? Is that like saying... easy come, easy go? I think love is a very involved thing when its real, and it's something that should be cherished and nurtured. I think very few people know how to really love someone..

when you're a mom raising a child, that is very easy to understand :)

Huh, you know I never thought of it in that terms. I suppose because I don't have any children of my own, although.. my oldest sister does. I can completely see how that would fit with Mother Theresas words to a T.

yea, any one love till hurts but if not no hurts.I think everybody has such experience.Love it happens to all and with everything. If it is not the existence wouldn't be here of people. A kind of chain which binds the people in the thread to keep in touch and together. Some where we find good, honest relationship and somewhere and sometimes loose. It's natural. Have to accept for .................

Love is a powerful feeling that it will let you do some impossible things for someone you love. Love is really evrywhere. It is really a paradox...hope to find my love partner soon

I think everyone desires someone to love unconditionally. Even these people who cheat, lie, and cannot seem to be monogomous if their lives depended on it. However.. I think that stems from their fear of not being understood by someone, and fearing that they will never find someone completely compatable. In order to avoid heartache and whatnot, drama... I guess, they float from person to person. Creating heartache for others. I have had a lot of bad relationships, and this quote opened my eyes to the fact that I have a TON of amazing friends that love me and would do anything for me. Including some amazing guy friends that really do love me for who I am. It's an amazing thing.. when you get to the end of your rope and you realize that everything you want and desire is right there in front of your eyes.

I can only hope that my wife and I can learn the true meaning of Mother Theresa's words. We have had some extremely tough times in the past year and things have not been showing any signs of getting easier. It hurts to love each other and yet see each other going through pain. Pain from events around us. things we say to each other that hurts when we are honest to each other and ourselves. IT can hurt to love. Feel the pain...must be because you are in love and you care. IF you don't feel the pain then how do you feel the joy. Must not be love if you don't feel anything. Love to Love...Love to Feel...Love to Live...Love to Laugh...Love to Exist...Love to be...Love is Life...Love my Wife.

Her words are really beautiful and have so much meaning to them, and can be analyzed in so many ways. I think love is supposed to hurt.. in a way. If it didn't hurt to some extent, at some point.. how would we ever know what real love was? I was in love once but I didn't realize it until after the fact... I always said "I love you", and mean it.. but it wasnt until after he was out of my life that I realized I really loved him and how it felt to really love someone. I wish you the best of luck, my parents are going through a very hard time after 26 years of marriage and it's the hardest thing I've ever seen my father go through. It's opened up so many emotions for him and I have seen sides of him I never thought existed. All I can say to you is to know that you have loved as much as you possibly could and to know that you gave your all is all we can ever really feel secure with in life. Keep your chin up! Everyone has rough patches, and sometimes they last longer than others.. but in the end, things really do work out the way they are meant to be!
