why does the african- american womens hair grow so slowly?

Not all African-American women hair grow very slow. It depends on the person. I heard that the african genes has that kind of character that their hair grows very slowly and thickly. It is in their dna due to the climatic conditions there.

I agree with you on this one because I always wondered about that for myself because my hair grows quickly in the front but slowly in the back.
