Three times. One for my mother, second for Lions Club Voluntary Programme, and third to my sister-in-Law, when she was pregnant.

When I was younger I used to always make a point of donating blood to help others. Now, I do not weigh enough for them to do it, and I was always sent home each time I went, so I quit going. If I remember right you couldn't weigh below 110, and so I'd need to gain 15 more pounds.

I can not donate or sell my blood cause it just won't come out! It goes half way up the tube then stops! That pisses me off cause I have that rare blood type that they want and if I were to SELL my blood, I was told I would get 3 times more pay then the other people with common blood! Dammit! I am broke too!!!!!

I have donated my blood a few times but usually have trouble when I do. I always seem to turn white and almost pass out because the blood leaves my body so fast. The attendants rush over and tip me upside down to revive me and then make me eat cookies. I still donate when I can though because apparently my blood is unique in the way it clots or something, so the hospitals like to have it on hand.
