this may be silly but I am new what are tags?

I just joined mylot today and I have been seeing tags everywhere and wonder what are tags and how do I use them?

Tags are keywords help you organize and categorize your content, in this case your discussion. The more tags (keywords)you come up with for your posting, the more exposure you discussion will have.

tags are what catagory it falls under

tags are used as sort of keywords/category the post falls under...like a a questions about cheating could fall under "relationships"... welcome to myLot
