I would agree with sor - think outside your box. Is there something locally, during that time that you've never done. Many times, we don't evn know what is going on in the local community and there could be a play or show - an event or concert...anything would be cool and a new experience.

Okay, you're supposed to give me ideas within my money limit. LOL plus, she's YOUR sister. do you really remember how difficult she can be? Not necessarily to keep happy, but how difficult she is to surprise? *sighs* well, i've got another 9 months to figure out a good one. Although, normally she's happy just to hang out with me while the buggman stays at mammaw's house. as long as we're not stuck in the house!

Also, is there a college nearby in your area? A lot of the events that my fiance and I go to are sponsered by the university and are cheap and a lot of fun. We spent one day just walking around while vendors had a bunch of booths set up - either selling their wares or political ideas. This was not long after the war in Iraq started so there was some interesting debates going on as well!

What does your spouse like to do for fun? Are there any concerts going on around that time? What about cultural events that are happening?
