What is the difference between C and C++?

C it`s first advanced programming language and it`s still known as the best, and it`s for an UNIX environement. C++ was developed later by Microsoft, and you can code windows software with it. They are different programming languages

sorry, i was rushed and I made a mistake. I confused C++ with C# lol. Like some1 said before, C++ is an object oriented language and has a new syntax added. In short terms, you can write a C code with an C++ compiler but not viceversa

Eventhough both are block structured languages, some features like Classes, Encapsulation and Polymorphism make C++ more user friendly

By the way C and C++ are the best languages to write multi-operational-systems programs. Like a program that runs on Windows, Linux, OS/2 and DOS, without needing to re-write some "lines".
