same with me, just like the movie, it's concept and how the actors played their roles...cool for Brad and brilliant for edward. well, let's not hope for it in real life, that will be a great mess and I hate fightings especially physically.

i beg to differ, its an awesome movie and an awesome concept, being a doctor, saving lives and healing injuries, there is a need to get in a ring and fight.. after all we fear self destruction but it attracts us

I like to refer to it as "fashionably late" actually. My co-worker and I were discussing movies and books that throw you curveballs you never saw coming. This movie came up. I told him that I had wanted to see it, sort of, but never did. He recommended it and loaned a copy to me. I LOVED IT.
Initally, I thought the movie was too dark, too disorganized, and the character actions were far too extreme. I remember thinking, why would any rational person do these things? Then, in the same moment he got it, I got it. I was thinking the same things he was saying. Noooo. Couldn't be. The movie had me replaying scenes for 2 days thinking "ohhhh that's why he/she did or said that." I honestly never saw the twist coming and I was still stunned days later when trying to unravel it all. I think this is gonna be one of those "watch it again now that I understand it all" kinda movies. The usual suspects made me do that.
The only gripe I have with the movie is the ending. I'm not a spoiler and I'm not about to start now. However, bad CG and a tidy wrap-up just didn't fit the rest of the movie. I understand that the book does a better job of fleshing it out and I might pick up a copy instead of watching the movie again. But I highly recommend this one if you are "fashionably late" like me.

hahaha! great comment dude! I watched this three times in VCD before but have a DVD copy now. I had been recommending this to many friends already and they did enjoy the twist.
Yeah it's only good for a movie. Although in some countries this is a sport and to some gang-oriented troops. :)
But Brad is awesome, and I start to love Edward Norton on this movie.
