teachers r not alone de person who teaches but they r a guide to de students.they understand their students feelings and teach according to their capability, they mould their students -this thing i think definitely cannot b replaced by a machine.

Accordind to me there are a lot of things computer can't do for instance, the interraction human-human and so to reply to all request. Also it can't create the "affection filter" namely the block usually people have where they are insecure, shy, etc. Indeed, theacher can create right environment and right interaction for teacking. In my opinion both are necessary but is more important the interaction.

No machine can never replace human being. Its not possible.computer is a machine which will give solution to the problems that it can do...but what about the emotions.Dont we have any feelings for r teachers. What about the respect which we show for r teachers. Can u have the same feelings for a machine which u have for ur teachers.I dont agree to this.

I think in some areas yes computers may replace human teachers. Right now we can even have an e-class to complete some degrees. Like for examples some new mba programs can be done at home. Business trainings usually conducted by of course human teachers are now being replaced by computers and talking avatars. In some areas, i think teachers can not be replaced easily. Areas like primary education and kinder garten. But who knows in the future.Maybe our teachers will all be robots. Lets just wait and relax and go to the beach and think about the future.

i think the better question is "can teachers replace computers"
it's my understanding that people (kids and adults) learn more from using the internet than any other means.

I would not be surprised if this is exactly where we are heading. Everyone wants to save money and why hire someone if a machine can handle it.
I do not belive in it though, some of the charm with eeing inschool is that u have a teacher to teach and help you-

A very futuristic question, but I dont think it will ever happen. The human contact during teaching still remains one of the most important factors that determines learning for learners.
I doubt that this will ever be the case. Howevere, I think computers will play a stronger and stronger role in teaching as the years go on, but never replacing!
