Should people fart in public places

I have a fellow coworker who is always loosing her manners in public. If we are in a meeting, she will slightly lift her bottom and let go. She doesn't care if it makes a sound or not. She looks at us as if we are the ones with the problem. I think she should excuse herself because no one wants to smell her stink. If we all move away from her, she justs scoots down to where we are or she follows us. We have told her that what she does is rude and inconsiderate but she acts as if it is not a problem. What else can be done?

Report it to the supervisor. It's no biggey if one slips out by mistake or surprise but people who deliberately do that are doing it for attention or shock. So tell all your coworkers to tell her once to stop. Then any other time everyone sit there and keep working pretending as if nothing happened.... It will make her mad no attention, and report each incident to her supervisor, eventually something will be done, encourage the others to do so as well. Now outdoors can't smell it no big deal deal enclosed places it can make people nauseous and sick and nausea is not a good state to be working in..... Public bathrooms or restrooms... Who cares those places are appropriate for it... Most likely your coworker is trying to be funny or get attention.. or plainly has no manners... I wish you luck... - DNatureofDTrain

Thanks, I really don't think she does it for attention. I thinks she is just plain out nasty b/c she act as if she doesn't know any better and that it doesn't bother her.
