Who takes decisions at home....husband or wife?

To run a successful life, somebody should be taking major decisions at home? who should it be...husband or wife? most of them might say husband...but, these day's more and more women are fighting for equality ...so, cannot women handle this....what are your views on this....

My husband makes the decisions. We talk about them and I give my input. He ultimately makes the decision though.

Oh...looks cool.As you are also aware of the situation and giving your inputs to your husband and allowing him to take the final decision show's the amount of faith and trust you have in your husband ...this is very good.Just because, if you have faith and trust in each other, you don't need anything more to run a successful life....isn't it? i say the major decissions should be made by both the man and woman if they are in a relationship. woman are equal and i dont have to fight for it. believe me woman can handle anything that comes into their plate.

Oh...nice to hear so much from a male in this time when women are fighting for equalities and you should be an example to everybody here and mind you, women can handle 80% of the things and not 100% remember that and i am for giving almost equal importance for women here Anyway's, thanks for responding

It depends. On my job, my business, I take the decision on my own. On holdhold works, children, my wife takes the decision. On longterm purchases, consumerable durables, myself and mywife jointly take the decision.

Absolutely...well said.On your job, it is alway's better to take all decisions on your own and regarding your family problems, both join together to take decisions right...good one you seem to have divided responsibilties equally... Anyway's, thanks for responding

i think it should be from both husband and wife...to discuss every single thing before deciding on what to do with it. it should not be one barking order, and the other following meekly...it's the new millenium after all, should have respect for both...

Hm...this is also my view to discuss with each other and make the decision.But, don't you feel that sometimes you might face an situation where you might have to take an very important decision and female cannot handle and male should take the responsibilty.....what do you say? Oh...ok...that's fine.In most of the cases, it will be the male who is taking charge of taking important household decisions.I am just trying to find out whether there are some females around saying that they are taking charge of those crucial decisions...but, till now no one commented like that...let's see if anyone comments like that... Ha....Ha....you are living with your friend right..hm....but, in general. what do you think of this question which will araise if you get settled marrying somebody in life...do,you want to take the responsiblity all alone and think that you can definitely do better than the male anytime or vice versa...what is it...just think of that an dreply back... Yes....in some way's you are right....as it won't hold good in all times.Sometimes, in times of unwanted disputes among other people and all, i think it's better for husband to take a decision than his wife...otherwise, collective decision is alway's good for a better life...isn't it?
