Hi Remember my post about the Worlds Weather being totally "Topsy Trurvy"!!! On the TV News this lunchtime a Tornado has hit part of London, and devasted one of the streets!!! There are roofs off, at least one house has lost the side of the house!!Looks like a "Mini" Bomb has gone off in London Now............. Tell me there is nothing wrong with the Worlds weather!!! England NEVER gets Tornado's!!!!

O yes and worst is coming. I think that all of supposed to have survival kit. We are no linger save. Arctic is melting and I am afraid that we have to build next "Noah’s Ark". Man went way too far, and we all are responsible for it. It is man made result.

Hi Dont you think that the weather here in UK is just totally different to 20 - 30 years ago?? The Scientists would be better employed trying to find out what is wrong with our Atmosphere I think!!!!

I know this weather pattern is crazy. Today hear we are at 21 below with the wind and tomorrow we are suppose to get to 42 degrees. Just crazy. I hope no one was hurt with that tornado. I don't think I have ever heard about london ever getting tornados. Crazy

The problem I have with that..... Too much climate change, and the whole way that our Planet works will change!!! What would happen for example if the Moonsoons in India would stop!! And they had Monsoons in the African Desert!! Get my point!!!!

How did I not see this on the news? There have been some radical changes in the weather, definately, it's like nature is turning against us. When I was taught about global warming, and the possible effects of it in Science, I was always under the impression that it would happen gradually and not just happen like it seems to be doing... Here's my question: What if it's too late to do something about it?

The weather worldwide is definitely wacky lately. Since I've lived in Florida all my life, I've seen hurricane damage up close, and many tornadoes can be associated with a hurricane. The damage is horrendous. I hate when I see where tornadoes have done such horrible damage and caused so many deaths, no matter where it is. At least with a hurricane, we get advance warning it's coming and can choose to stay or leave.

Hi there, yes I heard that on the news yesterday, I was astounded. Had to phone UK up last night as North London is where I have relatives, they were ok, thankfully. But just out of interest, which totally surprised me, apprently Uk has about 30-40 tornadoes a year, but not major ones and usually not in built up areas! There you go as I didn't know that and had never been through one when I lived there, or maybe I did but just didn't realise it!

We had some friends who were in London at the time, and we did the same, phone them on the mobile to see if they were OK

we live about 8 miles from where the tornado hit and we had hailstones and thunder and lighting, very noisy and frightening, apparently england has about 30 tornados a year which usually land in the countryside, so no damage is done, very strange that it should land in london. I do wonder if all the bombs and bullets and nuclear testing going on all round the world, play a large part in whats happening to the world.

Yes, I read about it in the paper this morning and my sister, who lives in Australia, also told me they are expecting the worst ever bush fire in Australia tomorrow, as it is very hot in Victoria and there are strong winds too! Poor koalas!

tornado - tornado
This is very normal these days. People from various parts of the country say that some of the areas have vastly experiencing a different climate than its primitive periods. Just a tornado in london is not a big difference.

yes,i saw it on the news...it's already known that the weather is changing all around the world..even in my country,i can sense differnces in temperature and in general on the weather..it"s not like it used to be anymore..it scares me in a way because we all got used t a certain clime...it would all be messed up if the weather changes on the whole planet..

Well they have been coming and going since long, when there was no technology, no smoke, no pollution so we can't name our development to be the reason. Perhaps the world is progressing towards its end.
