anything in books and movies especially that finally leaves you asking the question...Is this possible? Could that have been the reality? All along you thought there was only one way of doing a job and now you find there are 100's of other ways of doing the same job...all this piques ur interest and curiosity and thats what I enjoyed most about DAN BROWN. You must also read Angels & Demons if u r a diehard Dan Brown fan. About the paintings of Da Vinci there are hidden secrets references to that era...but interpreting them and finding out the truth that Da Vinci was trying to portray in his paintings has scholars still guessing to this day. Dan Brown just let his imagination run wild knowing very well any kind of evidence and theories would work for A Da VInci painting. But his theory still leaves you thinking doesnt it...and for all those Christians out there it must have shaken the foundations of your faith maybe just a little bit right?

Da Vinci - Da Vinci
I was, simply saying, awestruck by this most intriguing book.No doubt Mr. Brown knows how to narrate a good story added with a knack to continuously buildup on the reader

da vinci code - da vinci code
So here's the deal... I pride myself on being a reader. I love the classics. Thus, I made sure to avoid the Da Vinci Code. Everybody and their mother said that this was a fantastic book, and that I should read it right away. The rule of thumb is that whatever the mass of people recommend will without a doubt be stupid, and predictable. After a while, I gave into the pressure. And here's the deal. This book is not literature. It's a fun page turner. I enjoyed the book a lot, but I'm not going to claim it to be "a wonderful piece of literature." Anyone who claims that it is, probably doesn't read a whole lot, or if they do, nothing challenging. The truth is, if you understand that you shouldn't treat it as Emerson, you will enjoy this book. I had a blast reading it, perhaps because I read it for entertainment purposes only. If you pick up the Da Vinci Code with the same intention, it'll be worth every penny.

I think it's "historic fiction", but a very good version of it. A little alternative vision on christianity is not bad.
