Keith Ellison is the first Muslim elected to Congress (D-Minn). Dennis Prager, an columnist who serves on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, is criticizing Prager for planning to use the Quran during his swearing in ceremony. People are calling for Prager's removal from the council for his intolerant views. I for one do not see the harm in Ellison using the Quran for his swearing in. His service in the political arena already shows that he is devoted to this country and the principles that it strives to uphold. I used to date a Muslim and have read parts of the Quran. It is not hateful, I think it can be supplemental to the teachings of the Bible. The ideals behind both books are very similar. They teach good principles, treating humanity with kindness and respect, and respecting God (or Allah). I for one am of the opinion that all religions are worshipping the same 'being' when it comes down to it, the one who created the Earth and mankind. What do you think?

Whatever he wants to use, he should be able to use....Why judge him on what he uses weather it be the Quran or the Bible?
