Pros/Cons of having children close or far apart in age

I am debating having another baby. For those of you who have kids, how far apart are they and are you happy with the age differences

My oldest is 6 and will be 7 next month. my second is 5. My third is 2. My youngest is 8mths old. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
