I showed all my respect to those who are handicapped but smile at life including you, and I think the handicapped including handicapped physically and mentally. What is the worse is handicapped mentally. So Hellen is deaf and dumb in body, but whole in mind. Many healthy people in body can't keep healthy in mind. That's what we should learn from those people like Hellen.

I loved the movie "Miracle Worker" about her life. I watched it many times when i was a young child, the one where Patty Duke played Helen. I think it was remade later and Patty played Anne Sullivan and Melissa Gilbert played Helen. Helen Keller was born close to where I live, about 45 miles from here.

Helen Keller was an amazing person and is an inspiration to all. She took a circumstance that looked hopeless and through determination and perseverance wrote her own success story. Anyone who is prone to wallowing in self pity should read about this courageous lady. She really knows the meaning of "never give up!".

I didn't know that she wrote books. I know that she had a book written about her though. I may have to check into this.

Helen Adams Keller is known around the world as a symbol of courage in the face of overwhelming odds, yet she was much more than a symbol. She was a woman of luminous intelligence, high ambition and great accomplishment. She devoted her life to helping others.

I don't know many things about her. I have heard of her but i never read something which was written by her. I will give it a shot if you're sure that she is a good writer. Just hope to find some of her books here on my town. Good luck!
