Why do we want to look beautiful?

I do try to look nice, and more so when I am going out in public, but that is for me, because if I am looking my best then I am much more confident and feel more comfortable. The old saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is so true but often someone beautiful on the outside is not necessarily a beautiful person on the inside.

I do it for myself to feel good and confident ,not neccesarily fo others to appreciate or comment just for myself
