Many people say its just an old book and outdated. How about you? Do you believe on what is written on it or accepting just a part of it? What makes you agree or disagree on its message?

I think the Bible is historically accurate and has some good teachings, but I take it as a secular read. I do not believe it's religious teachings, but morally it can certainly provide useful information.

Bible is written to guide us and learn from it. Since there are no more miracles nowadays, all we have is faith and bible studying cultivates it. If we will align our way of life to its teaching, then we could be in right path to GOD.

I believe that the Bible is from the Word of God. The principles are timeless and Principles never change but rules do. It is broken down this way: 1: History 2: Prophecy 3: Principles 4: Instructions 5: Teachings Many parts of the Bible are very metaphoric and is not to be taken literally. The more I read the Bible the more alive it becomes to me.

I think, as far as being historically accurate, there's plenty of evidence it is. I think people do need to take some caution when they want to believe it exactly as written since most of the things in it were passed down verbally for generations before being written down.

You don't have to be scared to Revelation, in fact this is the most exciting part of the bible which detailed what God would to end the wickedness of this world, after armagedon he will creat a new world- a world without fears, tears, deaths. Isn't that great?

Yes, Ibelieve very strongly in the Lord, and the Bible.True it was written by men,but by men that God spoke to,to tell others of his Word. For me ,the main message is love, respect, and forgivness.I think thats how we should all treat each other.

The Bible is not an outdated book, the messages written there can be used up to now, (e.g. love your parents, be a good person) and moreover, accepting the Bible is not accepting just a part of it. To fully appreciate it means accepting it as a whole. It's not just an old book.

The Holy Bible is the Word of God and I believe the whole counsel of God. I was baptized into Christ on October 1, 1989 and I am a servant of God. The Holy Bible was written in about 1,500 years from 1,417 B.C. to A.D. 96 by about 40 men borne by the Holy Spirit to do the will of God; they did not live at the same era nor in the same place. We are now in the year 2006 and nobody has ever proven that the Holy Bible is not the Word of God, but the Holy Bible itself proves that it is the Word of God. As a servant of God, I obey God and follow His commandments all written in the Holy Bible; otherwise, where shall I get the commands? God does not now use miracles to speak to His chosen people; He laid out everything in the Holy Bible, it's up for each of us to believe and obey or not. I have faith in Him. The Holy Bible is clear, simple, and understandable. By the way, I'm so grateful that He has given me the gift of knowledge and understanding Bible Greek. I use this gift and so I translate the Word of God from Greek to English. Those who do not believe, PLS ask specific questions because this is a very broad subject matter and couldn't be discussed in whole just like this. Thank you very much and may God bless you. SEN

Rainbow, Ferry, Bigbear, Boracay - On my way to Boracay after voyaging on a ferry through a rainy night from Iloilo.
Over the past 30+ years, I have read/studied several bibles from cover to cover, and I do not believe every word in any bible came from anything/ anyone worthy to be called "God."Of the Old Testament, I feel certain that each of its pieces were written in their own time and edited later to suit the teaching purposes of the leaders of the times. The pieces of the New Testament seem fraudulent to me. They say so very little about any Jesus of history. "Apostle Paul's Jesus seems a different creature from that of Mark. Writers of Matthew, Luke, and John seemed to have borrowed from the same sources. Historicity of it all is moot at best. The question presupposes that there IS a "message," and that it is worthy of belief. The believer's message seems fabricated to me.

I think some of it might be true! But i don't believe most of it! Maybe some of the stories is true, but i don't believe in anything connected to god! Cause i don't really believe in any gods!
