I am a die hard fan, but some of the moves that the yankees have made has been an eye sore, Kevin Brown, Randy Johnson, Jarett Wright. These were bad pick ups. And now Andy? This was a guy who was hurt nearly half the season and now that he's 1 year older, things are to get better? The league is getting younger not older, look at the major sports teams who have won titles, they do it with young hungry players not the old timers, Geoge save your money Andy is not worth it. Should Yankees sign Andy? If you had the Yankees money to obtain any free agent pitcher or fielder who would you recruit?

He's a great pitcher (or was) but he's getting in years. The older they get, the more injury prone they are, and spend a lot of time on the bench.
Didn't Petit have at least one injury this year? With Johnson so inconsistent, they really need a younger arm, not another old timer.
