Fed up with violence

Every day, in the news, you can see only violence: war, fights, cruelty, blood, sadness. I'm fed up with all these. Nobody seems to be interested in love, beauty, friendhip, understanding any more.
And I can't find the reasons. What about you? How do you explain so much violence?

Oops! People choose violence because it is the easier option. Countries don't go to war for the people's safety or freedom, they go to make money and all that jazz. Countries go to war to sell arms, create jobs, spread their view point (religion), seek resources and increase defence spending. If only it were for the right reasons, this would be a wonderful world.
Take Political correctness: Yes, we should treat each other with respect, but is that the core reason to market PC with such energy? Or could it be to divide people and create tension 'divide and conquer". Take "Christmas vs Holidays" I have seen people fight over that. Afterall, it is geared around Jesus (who happens to be recognized by Christians, Jews and Muslims, so why are we fighting?) What PC ha-ha!

i know exactly what you mean my whole neborhoods like that...3 days ago a guy that i knew got shot and killed for leaving his car at the gas pump while he went in to pay some punk got mad cause he had to wait a couple extra seconds a fight broke out it escalated and he shot him in the chest 4 times..that why one day i really wanna move to toronto,canada

I think that is all about natural resources. USA doesn't have the natural resources to sustain their economic growth so they need to get it from other and not having to pay the right price for it. So they go to war .. Simple! Anyway ... Thanks for your response!
