Yes, January 20,2009 Barack Obama will take office as the first black President. This will be a day that will change history forever and I personally,am glad that I will be a witness to it. My kids and I will watch this historic inaugruation and I will be thrilled to see him take office. ( By the way, I am white but I still believe that he is best for the country!)

Why not. People of stature of Nelson Mandela, Kofi Annan are there in US and they can become President.

Oh My God!! Did you not know that this is America and politics reign supreme. They will find a way to prolong the election of an African-American president for as long as they can. I honestly believe a female will be elected before a black man.
