Do you eat raw cookie dough?

I still do, after it is all mixed up and ready to go. I don't eat a lot of it but I do. It has never made me sick that I can remember. I also let my kids clean the cake bowl when I mix up and cake and lick the batters. They have never gotten sick either, but of course it is not a lot left when I give it to them.

raw cookie dough is good ...lol one of my favorite ice creams too.. the cookie dough in cookie dough ice cream is raw...its yummy

I love raw cookie dough, In ice cream, pre made, or home made. I ate this whenever my mom made cookies, all of my siblings did too and it never hurt us.

Every time I make cookies I can't help but try a little bit of the raw cookie dough. I mean who honestly can resist an entire bowl of that delicious stuff?! . . I think it's the texture that is the whole appeal when it comes to that stuff. I remember when I was a kid how whenever my mom had made cookies.. How when she wasn't looking I'd dip my hands in to the bowl.. It wasn't so easy for me to hide it back then especially since she'd see a little bit of the cookie dough on the floor that I accidentally had dropped. Or she'd just take one good look at me & shake her hand smiling. It's almost like she knew exactly when I had taken a little bit out of the bowl. I remember when I was a kid how I had questioned so often if she had eyes in the back of her head or something! haha. I think it's because I used to always get caught when I always thought I was being sneaky. The only thing that frightens me is knowing I could get salmonella. I mean that is rare but still it could happen. But I know that I do use fresh eggs each & every time I bake cookies so I am not concerned a large majority of the time! . . I've never known anyone to get sick from eating a lot of raw cookie dough but I am sure there we're some people who have had that happen to them. I know that I've always been a big fan of eating raw cookie dough. I think I always will be a big fan of doing this. Unless I become rather ill. Which I can't see happening since it's not like I eat all to much of it or anything! . .

No I do not eat raw cookie dough. I don't like the taste of it. Once they are cooked though I love them.

When I was a kid I loved it but now it kind of makes me sick. Too sweet for me. I eat the stuff that comes in icecream now and then. I do love how the sugar makes it kind of gritty. lol Sounds gross now that I think of it. Usually gritty is bad.
