Paul McCartney is better than John Lennon

I think Paul McCartney is better than John Lennon at everything. Paul was and is a better singer, musician, songwriter, father, husband, man and much better looking.
John was a creep and wasnt very talented musically.
Can anyone explain to me why so many people think John was so great?
Is it because he died young or under tragic circumstances?

John had better taste in women for sure. Yoko Ono had more musical and artistic talent than all of the beatles combined! Then again, I don't care for any of that radio-friendly popular music, and think that the beatles are over-rated in general. Don't get me wrong, I think that they were pretty good musicians and knew how to write a good pop song, and the white album and sgt pepper's have some pretty decent songs...but i'd rather listen to brian jones' production of the master musicians of joujouka any day!!!

Yoko Ono had musical talent?
Quick someone tell the papers.. this will be front page news for sure.
Come one, only tone deaf people think that Yoko could sing on key.
Julian Lennon on the other hand, really does have musical talent. He is a superb musician. I wish he got the credit he deserves.
He is far better than his father ever was.

I had fun while going through the discussion and the replies posted here.I think this discussion is very rich and informative and obviously Catsass you are one person who dosent tolerate individual brilliancy whom you are bias against it. Ghon Lenon was better than Paul McCartney or not I would never would like to know but surely He wasn't less. He was a disturbed soul with a conscious. How he lived his life is no way going to determined his musical brilliancy. You may be authority on Beatles but one thing is sure you have a way to look at the things with tainted glasses.

I always thought McCartney was better in a lot of ways than Lennon, Lennon did write a lot of their songs when they were together. Not that Lennon was a bad songwriter or anything else, it's just that Paul showed a lot of class despite being an idol. Lennon's voice was great, but I personally liked McCartneys voice better. I think Lennon changed after he was with Yoko Ono. Paul has written some really great songs, and when they were all together they collaborated on many other good ones. When they were together, they made an unbeatable team.
