Will suicide killers ever stop?

To me, the genie is out of the bottle on this particular form of expression. It has less to do with western misdeeds than a new trend in the desperate acts of crazy people (or crazy acts of desperate people). It is similar to killer postal workers, school shooting rampages and robbing convenience stores while wearing ski masks. Society’s solution can only be preventative policy measures. With that, things we call liberties will disappear. The same vanishing liberties as diving boards on swimming pools, smoking cigarettes, drunk driving, required seat belts, gun ownership, pocket knives and anything else singled out as potentially harmful due to misuse/abuse. We will never be rid of suicide killers. As long as there are people who are willing to kill themselves and can make bombs (simply put together the right amounts of household, industrial and agricultural chemicals) or operate heavy machinery, we will have suicide killers. We may as well modify the debate over the privacy issues, many are already gone and never coming back, and get used to the fact that we live in a world where people will blow themselves apart and make a statement of taking others with them because they are unhappy. They have been shown the way and will line up to perform the gristly task regardless of anything any society tries to remedy.
